Definition:
Procedure text is a text
that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of
actions or steps. It explains how people perform different processes in a
sequence of steps.
This text uses simple
present tense, often imperative second, then, next, finally, etc.

It purpose is to describe how
something is accomplished through a sequence of actions or steps.

Example Of Procedure Text:
“ How To Insert SIM Card “v You will need:1. Hand phone2. SIM Cardv What to do:- First of all, switch off the phone.- Second, pull the battery lock on the back the phone, and holdit in thus position.- Next, slide the cover, and lift the battery.- Then, insert the SIM Card into its slot. But, remember, do itcarefully. Um, one more thing, don’t forget to make sure thegolden connectors on the card face into the phone and ah,the opposite end of the battery until it snaps into place.- Now, slide the cover back into the mobile phone.- Finally, switch on your phone and you’ll see the signal ofyour SIM Card on the phone screen and do you know whatthe means? Good! It means you can start using your phone.
